‘Care4Air’ map tool

Our client Diva Creative was working on a campaign for Sheffield City Council called ‘Care4Air’, highlighting the issues surrounding air quality in the city. They asked us in as Flash development support to create a map tool for the campaign site, letting visitors know the locations of Sheffield’s air quality monitoring stations.

The finished tool loaded data dynamically from an XML file, allowing the site admin to edit it using a built-in system. It was part of the site for 2 years, until the site was rebranded and replaced with a Google maps version. Yes, we even got there before Google. God, we’re good.
